Hi! My name is Daniela and I founded Jadati SAC in early 2020. You may wonder about this weird mix between the German-speaking countries and Peru, a country in South America. Let me explain.
I was born and raised in Germany and have been working with immigrants since the 1990’s. I volunteered in social projects such as teaching German to Turkish women or accompanying immigrants and refugees to official appointments and help with translations and explanations.
Since 2012, I’ve been working as a freelance online German teacher on the platform italki. I had the pleasure to meet professionals from countries such as Brazil, India, Russia, China or the United States and realized that they were often seeking more than just improving their language skills.
In 2014, I left Germany and started to live as a digital nomad which comes with its own challenges. I arrived in Latin America in early 2017, have spent most of my time in Peru and eventually obtained a residency permit. I teamed up with one of Peru’s best immigration lawyers and started a project for digital nomads who visit Peru and a service for German native speakers who are interested in moving to Peru temporarily or permanently.
Last not least, I turned my passion for stories and literature into a business by writing graded readers for German learners. So, it all fits together but to avoid confusion, I’ve created various websites (which are still works in progress) that all have a different focus.
